About us
Rhema Evangelical Assembly is a vibrant and inclusive church located in Inner London, specifically in the northern part of the London Borough of Hackney. We are a bilingual congregation (English and French), dedicated to worshiping God, growing in our spiritual journeys, and serving our community. Join us on Sundays for an uplifting and meaningful experience.

Our Christian faith
1. What We Believe
We affirm and declare our Christian faith:
-
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and carries full authority.
-
We believe in one God, the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Creator and Sovereign of the universe.
-
We believe that Satan and his demons have been defeated by the blood of Jesus and by the power of our testimony.
-
We believe in the fall of man, his corruption through sin, and his need to be born again.
-
We believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ: born of a virgin, His death, His bodily resurrection, now seated at the right hand of the Father, and His future return.
-
We believe in the reconciliation of man with God through the blood of Jesus, who took our place in death.
-
We believe in the resurrection of the dead in Christ, in their eternal joy, and in everlasting life in Heaven.
-
We believe in the judgment of unbelievers and their eternal separation from God in Hell.
-
We believe in the Church as the indivisible Body of Christ, composed only of those who are born again, united by the Holy Spirit, for whom Christ now intercedes in Heaven and to whom He will return.
-
We believe in the Great Commission entrusted by Christ to His Church: to preach the Gospel to the whole world, baptize those who believe, and teach them the Truth.
2. Vision
The Lord declares in His Word:
"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20)
At Rhema Evangelical Assembly, our mission is to bring weary souls back to the Lord so they may find rest in Him (Matthew 11:28).
God has placed on our hearts the ministry of reconciliation and deliverance.
Our objectives:
a) Reconciliation with God
-
For those who, for various reasons, have abandoned their first love for God.
-
For those who have never experienced a relationship with Jesus.
b) Reconciliation with others
"Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar." (1 John 4:20)
c) Deliverance
New believers are supported through teachings that lead to deliverance:
-
Breaking spiritual ties inherited at birth (names, dedications, generational curses).
-
Healing from negative influences of the environment in which one grew up.
-
Setting captives free, as the Bible says: "The iniquity of the fathers will be visited upon the children to the third and fourth generation."
-
Breaking all kinds of spiritual chains and bondages (spiritual spouses, invisible strongholds, etc.).
The word "Rhema" means Revelation of the Word.
Our ministry is rooted in the Bible, as declared in:
"I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness." (Isaiah 42:6-7)
3. Origin of the Vision
The vision of the Ministry of Reconciliation and Deliverance (MRD) was given through an open vision:
The pastor saw a large serpent binding its prey. He took a stick, struck the serpent, and it weakened and released the prey.
4. Project
The Rhema Assembly is not called to remain a local church only. With God's help and the support of all, it aspires to become an international church.
Your prayers and encouragement are precious, so that I, who am but an empty vessel, may be equipped by the Lord for His glory alone.
